Plasma TV Information:
The plasma television offers many advantages over other television technologies, and this
accounts for why they are the fastest selling 'new' TV technology on the
market. The plasma television is able to display a higher resolution
compared to conventional TV sets, and is capable of displaying HDTV
signals. Many plasma televisions are capable of producing 720p pictures,
and some are able to display 1080i as well. Most plasma televisions
include a built in line doubler; a feature that basically doubles the
resolution of conventional TV signals, greatly improving their image
quality.
About Plasma Television Technology:
Plasma TV technology is different from the technology used in
other display systems in that red, green and blue lights are created in
every pixel, reducing the need for space. Charged electrodes between glass
panels cause tiny pockets of inert gas to change a state of plasma. This
process causes UV light to be produced, which in turn reacts with the red,
green, and blue phosphors in each pixel to produce visible light.
Unlike traditional displays, where the image is scanned across the screen,
in plasma televisions all pixels are "lit" at once. Having no electron
beam, back lighting or light polarization, the image is inherently sharper
and brighter. Perfect from edge to edge.
Why Plasma Televisions Are Better:
The parts used in plasma TVs do not require a lot of space which make them
very adaptable and capable of being hung on a wall.
In addition to the advantage of slimness, a plasma television is flat
rather than slightly curved as a CRT display (regular television), and
therefore free of distortion on the edges of the screen. Unlike many
displays, a plasma TV offers a very wide viewing angle. Plasma televisions
come in conventional display sizes and also in sizes up to 63 inches for
large, bright viewing and digital signage.

Consumer Sales:
We will sell plasma TVs to consumers for home theater use,
however, we no longer accept credit cards. All orders must
be pre-paid by wire transfer, check or money order. |
